Please don’t forget your child’s £1 donation to take part in yoga and their trainers for our slightly damp outside fun today 🙂
Please can children all wear school uniform as usual tomorrow. We will be spending part of the day doing fun exercises outside so they will change into their PE kit during the morning but will need to bring in trainers or appropriate shoes for lots of running about. If they can just hand these to us in the morning we can pop them into their PE kits. We will make sure they bring them home at the end of the day.
Next term we will begin our PE sessions outside so they will need trainers added to their school PE kits so they are here all the time.
Thank you, The Reception Team
Please remember own clothes today. £1 donation for this charity. Thank you.
We had such a wonderful time today. The weather was windy (which blew up lots of dust that poor Archie experienced) but it remained dry and luckily we all had our wellies/old trainers to tackle the muddy paths. We LOVED the mud kitchen and the teachers have stolen lots of ideas to create in our woods! We had stories in the teepee and the story circle, we went on woodland walks on the secret garden trail as well as building teddy dens in the woods…….not forgetting the coach trip and our lunch, which most of the children said was their favourite part of the day!!! We luncheon’ed’ together and had a group al fresco snack time but a few of the Foxes kindly joined Mrs Shoubridge to work with her younger children. We renamed ourselves Foxhogs for the day! When we disembarked the coach virtually every child thanked our driver, Dave and he commented on how polite, friendly and sensible our children are. We are so proud of you all. Thank you team Danehill!!
We look forward to seeing as many of you as possible today at 2.40. Please sign in at the office and then come round to the hall. The children will need a walking space in front of your chairs so please can you ensure a gangway is left for them. This is only our second class assembly and Hedgehogs are very excited about performing to you, so we hope you are able to join us. Please don’t worry if you are unable to make it as your child will bring home your surprise!
Thank you to everyone that either came along on Friday or placed bids on the auction to support the school. Over eight thousand pounds was raised for the school and we were overwhelmed by the generosity and dedication of the school community.
Thank you again to everyone involved.FYI There are still a few donations you can bid on for the next few days so do take a look.
We look forward to a busy few weeks to the end of Term 4!!
This sheet is now in the ‘date’ section of my blog. If you do not have access to a printer, pop in and get one over the next few days. Thank you!
